These air fryer Brussels sprouts are perfectly roasted and crispy without using any oil. They make a delicious and fat-free side dish for meals, healthy snack or addition to a grain or salad bowl.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups brussels sprouts stemmed and sliced
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp ground pepper optional
  • Cooking spray optional or 1 Tbsp vegetable oil if desired

Instructions

  • Cut the stems off the sprouts then slice: large sprouts cut in fourths/medium spouts cut in halves/small sprouts left whole.
  • Place the sprouts in a medium bowl. Add salt, pepper and cooking spray or oil if desired. Toss well.
  • Depending on the size of your air fryer, put ½ or all of the sprouts in the fryer tray.
  • Set the fryer at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes, then press start.
  • After 8 minutes, remove the tray, toss the sprouts, then finish cooking.
  • The sprouts are done with they’re softened and golden.
  • Transfer to a serving tray or bowl.
  • Store in an air-tight container in the refrigerator.
