Gluten-Free Donuts
These gluten-free donuts make for a delicious, healthy breakfast as the weather starts to cool and your enthusiasm for a pot of oatmeal or cereal is lagging. They’re baked, vegan & gluten-free–oh, and they’re low in fat & sugar too. And, yes, they’re delicious!

Vegan Donuts
These gluten-free donuts are baked, vegan & gluten-free–oh, and they're low in fat & sugar too. And, yes, they're delicious!
Ingredients
Dry
- 1 1/2 cups millet flour or rice or oat flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
Wet
- 1/2 cup apple cider
- 1 single serving container vanilla soy or almond yogurt approx. 5 oz
- 1/2 tsp liquid vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp liquid Stevia Optional optional
Coating
- 1/2 cup maple sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Pre-heat the oven at 350 degrees F.
- Sift the dry ingredients, then stir in a medium bowl.
- In a small bowl, combine the wet ingredients, and stir well.
- Add the wet to the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
- Pour evenly into six-donut baking pan.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes, until firm on top and edges.
- Combine the maple sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
- Coat the warm donuts on both sides in the coating.
- Highly recommend eating while still warm!
- Store extras in a well-sealed container.
