High Protein Vegan Chocolate Snack Bites

Ingredients

Wet

  • 2 large extra ripe mashed bananas or 1 cup applesauce
  • 1/2 cup organic nut or seed butter of your choice
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

Dry

  • 1 cup oat flour or rolled oats blended into a powder
  • 1/4 cup organic cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup chocolate protein powder
  • 1/4 cup Chopped nuts/seeds or sugar-free chocolate chips to sprinkle on top

Instructions

  • Mash the bananas/applesauce, nut butter and syrup together, then mix well until fluffy.
  • Add the flour and powders using a flour sifter to remove the clumps.
  • Mix well.

NO BAKE OPTION:

  • Roll into balls and coat with chopped nuts, seeds or cocoa powder.

BAKE OPTION:

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
  • Press into a medium square, rectangular or round baking pan coated with oil.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, until firm.
  • Sprinkle chopped nuts/seeds/chips on top.
  • Let cool then cut into squares.
  • Store in the refrigerator/freezer.
